When I go to the gas station the pressure in the tank cause the service station nuzzel to shut off and I have to pull it out an let the pressure release and start filling again. It takes about 12 restart to fill my gas tank. What is the cause and hou can I fix it.

Either the vent for the tank, which is a hose next to the fuel filler neck, or the gas cap is not venting properly.
If it is hot out, a lot of pressure will biuld up from evaporation.
Try a gas cap first.

Just to add to this one once the gas cap is removed how can it cause the gas tank to not allow fuel to be added to the tank? A stuck vent solenoid or spider built a web clogging the gas tank vent etc thats what I say is most likely the cause. Do you have any trouble codes in the computer? If you havent that would be your first step let us know what you find.
