2000 saab 9-5 v6 3.0 had a rad hose blow. Replaced the hose. Next day ended up with water in the engine. Pulled oil dip stick steam was coming out. With steam was coming out the tail pipe. Is it the head gasket?

Hey whats up, the problem u may have which is common for the v6 is the oil cooler that sits in the middle & inside under a cover would blow & cause coolant to mix with oil it is very very roar that the v6 blow head gasket, buttttttt, that could also be the cause, best to get it checked out, note oil cooler cost about away from 400-550 & u will also need intake manifold gaskets & o-rings & also the oil cooler cover, and while u r there it would be wise to replace eng coolant thermostat too, total cost could be about 800-1000 at dealer to do it right & to get job warranted, good luck.
