What does it mean when the engine light & the circle with an exclamation point in the middle are on? The car listed above is a convertible.

Engine light is on because you have an issue with a component on your engine.. it has set a code, bring it to get scanned... the exclamation point in the circle is there to get your attention, usually comes on with a message in the message center. for example, if your car notices a bad brake light bulb, the exclamation bulb is illuminated, along with a message in the message center..

Here is a link to help you for code scanning: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing
