How much does it cost to rebuild the engine in a 2000 pontiac grand am?

Please remember there are many variables that can change the cost. A general overhaul is usually around 3K dollars. That can change if there is internal damage to the crank, cam, heads... Also, where you live will have an affect on the cost.
