Pontiac Bonneville Gas Problem

MY CAR IS MISFIRING AND THE EXAUST SMELLS OF GAS. AT TIMES THE MISFIRING QUITS AND CAR RUNS SMOOTHLY. WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING RIGHT THEN THE EXAUST NO LONGER SMELLS OF GAS. I HAVE CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS AND PUT SEA FOAM INTO THE GAS TANK TO TRY TO CLEAN THE INJECTORS. NEED HELP. I HAVE A 2000 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE SSEI EDITION.

i would check the wires, coils and module.

i assume you had a check engine light. what was the code??

it was a randon misfire. i guess ill start with the wires next. I knew that it could be the coils but what is the module?
