What is a turbocharge means and what is the function in the car? 1st time to have a car, am still learning things, got it on second hand and dont have the car manual. Pardon the mess. Thanks in advance.

Turbocharge refers to increasing air pressure in intake manifold via a turbine driven off the exhaust gases. This packs more mixture into cylinders increasing power output.
