Hello Jacobandnickolas. You did not read the first one just seconds before Ooops! The rearview mirror fell down and I cannot get it back up it has a cord attached to it for it's navagating.

So I need to know how do I take out the metal button so that I can clean it and reattach it?

Oh before you mention an alley wrench type thing there is no hole for it, so that is why I need assistance? Hopefully the picture will come in this time for you to see?

THANK AND HAVE A BLESSED ONE!

Hi again. For some reason I can't get the pics to open. I have no idea why. As far as the problem, there has to be something that is holding the button in place. However, if you can't find anything, just purchase the repair kit and hold the entire mirror in place for about a minute or what ever the directions recommend. The repair kits that I have used over the years dry quickly and are very strong.
