My son was changing my brake pads and after finishing one side he had to move it and when he went to start it, it would not crank. It clicked and that was it. Thought it was the battery because that is what it was acting like but had battery checked and they said it was good. I have dash lights, headlights and radio. Help!

Make sure that the terminals are clean and tight, check for 12V at the starter main terminal this should be constant power and 12V at the solenoid terminal on the starter with the key on crank, if this is ok and the battery is ok, the problem will be in the starter.

You need to find out what is missing. It could be ignition sparks or fuel.

Do you have a security system>|?

Make sure that is not the issue before going to a starter

The possibilities are vast and unless you know what is missing causing the non starting, it is not possibile to provide any suggestions. Such problems should most likely be of elecrtrical concern and it could also be the secutrity system.
