2000 Nissan Xterra Repair Question


Topics covered: Brakes, Egr valve, Idle air control valve.

My 2000 nissan xterra is not holding an idle as the temp gauge climbs to operating temp, it has a code pointing to the map sensor,ive also read the iac valve may also be at fault,how can i clean these,before replacing them and where are they located

Ive not been driving the car much since i have no experience repairing drum back brakes and no garage to attempt to now-thanks

Clean/Test the idle air control valve-auxillary air control and throttle position sensor-also check PCV and EGR valves
