2000 Nissan Xterra brake lights

My brake lights stay on continually. Until I remove the fuse.

Try wiggling the brake pedal while someone watches the lights. Pull up on the brake pedal. The brake light switch at the brake pedal may either be shorted or simply in need of adjustment.
