my 2000 nissan maxima stalls when I stop, ilde at a light or sit in bad traffic, My mechanic just recently replaced the Mass airflow sensor & intake manifold gasket, and cleaned throttle body and IACV. Since this work has been done I gained improved performance, but the stalling has returned and seems to be worse on hot days or after it has been running for a long time, and the problem is slowly getting progressively worse. I've heard everything from mass air sensor to IAC Valve to EGR valve to TPS Sensor. but i want to know what to replace to fix this once and for all.. I already know that the most common replacement is the IACV, but will this fix my problem? there are currently no codes showing up, especially the P505 code for the bad IACV. So which seems like it more likely is the culprit? the EGR valve, TPS sensor, or IAC Valve? I really want to keep this car, but I don't want a moneypit either, and I'm already in the thousands in repair costs, and this issue still isn't fixed.
