2000 Nissan Maxima Repair Question

Nissan Maxima Brakes Problem
The brakes on my car were not working properly. So i had them replaced, and they continued to not work right. If i go onto the interstate, and go over 60mph my brake goes alway to the floor and barely slows my car down? what causes this?

A faulty master cylinder can be the cause for this issue, was it not inspected for this when the brakes were worked on? Have them recheck it straightaway.
