Check engine light
I have a 2000 Mercury sable . The check engine light was on . The code read system bank #1 and # 2 lean. Codes po 171 and po174. I put new plugs and wires and clened the mass flow sensor and reset the light. I drove about 501 miles and the light came back on What can this be? I can't afford to take it somewhere and have a diagnostics. It is very frustrating. Please help

We see these codes a lot and most of the time on a Ford, it's due to a bad vacuum leak. Listen for hissing noise and try to follow it to it's source.
