2000 mazda protege with 1.6L 5speed, when cold it runs great but once warm the RPMs rev up and fall almost cutting the car off. I checked for vaccum leaks, and found nothing. But when I pull off the vacuum line coming off the intake manifold going to the solenoid between the manifold and the canister. It runs great but with a loss of power. So I replaced the solenoid between that line and the canester. And still the same thing. Plz help

Have the valve clearances checked to see if they are within specs.
