Mazda Protege Oil pump Problem
Engine oil light flickers on and off. occasionally stays on. is this an oil pump issue? if so how do you change the oil pump?

could be but oil pumps are rare failures. could be clogged pick up screen or worn main and rod bearings. have a manual test done to confirm.
