While driving the mirror assembly struck a tall plastic cone (that sectioned off road work). The mirror assembly remained on the vehicle but internally the internal mirror was jarred loose from the support plate. This is the plate that moves the mirror in various positions as controlled by the inside switch. I need to get access to the inside of the assembly to reattach the mirror to the plate. My somewhat limited repair manual states access in achieved by removal of the door trim and watershield but before I start prying I need specific instructions as to what can be removed by simply prying out clips and where retaining bolts are located that require a screwdriver.
Mirror is powered heated type.
