How do i remove the roof access panel on my ?
I need to manually close my moonroof and was told that I need to access the moonroof/sunroof motor which is great.... if I had a clue as to how to properly remove the access panel to do this. I am unable to afford the $1500 that the Ford dealership wants to repair it at the moment, I just want it closed so I am no longer in danger of being rained on. :(
Naturally there is nothing listed in the owners manual on how to manually close the moonroof or how to even get to it LOL! Could you please provide directions on how to do this?

The access cover should just pull off - it's held in by spring clips. I don't think that there is a way to manually close the moonroof without first removing the electric motor. Once this is done, you may be able to pull the moonroof closed.
