After driving for several hours the engine stops.

After driving for several hours the engine stops running and it won't start immediately. After a while it starts and works fine again. The temp is always ok.

You need a scaner to find codes that are given to see what is wrong with engine or causing the problem. In the u.S here they do it at most auto parts stores for free. If you don't have one a pro will have to do it for you. It's another computer to diagnose
