Backfiring
Here I am again. Jeep Cherokee 2003. Just replaced the camshaft sensor and it was a nightmare to install. Started and it is backfiring so much that it actually blows the air cleaner off the carb. Sounds like the timing is way off. Suggestions?

i would remove the valve cover and look for rocker arms that may have broken. this may cause these issues.
