Removal & Installation (S Type)

1. Remove door latch bezel. Remove door trim panel retaining bolt. Remove door pull handle screw cover and door pull handle retaining screws. Detach interior door trim panel. To aid in removing upper rear clip,
lower glass and press case inward. Disconnect door trim harness electrical connector. Remove door trim. Disconnect driver door module electrical connector.
2. Carefully remove door interior weatherstrip. Remove protective end cap and remove door exterior weatherstrip. DO NOT bend or deform weatherstrip. Remove front window glass clamps. Remove glass
retaining nuts. Position regulator guide to one side. Remove exterior handle. Disconnect actuator electrical connector. Remove door actuator screws and remove door actuator. See Fig. 2.
3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Window glass should be placed in clamps then inserted into "B" post seal. Move window glass forward 0.08" (2.0 mm) for correct alignment.
