2000 Isuzu Truck Trouble shooting

I sent a message before, thing is I tried scanning but that proved futile and am still having the problem. If the Check engine light is disconnected, the truck will rev but it will not go into third or fourth gear. But as we connected back the swictch the engine will not rev, any suggestions as what what next to try?

If it will not go into 3rd or 4th the trans may be in lip mode meaning something is wrong with it. Check fuses as some of these are fused for light and aldl. It has to be scanned to find out where to go to fix it. You may have to take to ta pro to get working so he can get the codes that are causing the problem. Otherwise you are blind.
