Isuzu Rodeo Problem
My 2000 isuzu rodeo wont shift into reverse or park. on the shifting collum it says its in park, but on the dash it says its only in nuteral which it is. i can leave it in nuteral along with the emergency break on and put it in drive. Im thinking it might be the shift linkage has slipped but im not sure and i need to fix this problem asap.

You need to check the linkages yourself and yes, it most likely is at fault. Thinking won't solve the problem and we can't see it from here.
