COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS CAUSING A SPARK PLUG NOT TO FIRE??
MY CAR WAS TESTED AT A AUTO STORE AND I WAS TOLD THAT SPARK PLUG ONE WAS NOT FIRING AT ALL AND NUMBER THREE WAS MIS FIRING.
WHAT DO YOU THINK COULD BE THE PROBLEM??
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP,
A GRAND MOTHER.

parts stores are not shops. the code indicates a missfire for number 3 cylinder.
it could be a plug, wire, coil, injector, vacuum leak or no compression. have it checked at a shop to confirm the failure.

Most likely culprit is a faulty coil on that cylinder- switch the coilpack with one of the others, clear codes by disconnecting battery for 2 minutes and run it to where you had the codes pulled at. If the miss has moved , you need a coil. wires do fail, but is usually not the case with Hyundai
