My car does not start at all. I already checked the battery and the starter and they are both good. What else could I do?

Doescar crank? Or does it just sit there and click when key is turned to start? If its a no crank issue turn headlights on. When vehicle cranked with headlights on. Does headlights dim or do they stay bright.
