Hi and thank you for your time.
I have a 2000 GMC safari van and need to know which two wires come from the computer to the knock sensor? To fill you in a little I had the motor replaced and the mechanic didn't unhook the knock sensor, which broke the line somewhere in the harness. It's my understanding that the two line to the knock sensor go directly to the computer and can be spliced in so that the sensor works but can't seem to find out which two lines they are. I don't want to chance pulling the wire harness apart knowing that the wire coating will be frail and degraded which can cause even more problems.
The van and motor are both 2000 GMC.
The van runs fine unless I drive it at highway speeds then it knocks and backfires.
At this time I have one wire to the original wire and one wire grounded.
Codes tell me to replace knock sensor. No other problems.
Do you
have the same problem?

Why don't you take it back to the clown that replaced the motor in the first place and demand he fixed what he screwed up at no charge to you.I personally hate guys like that. It just shows one sensor and it's a dark blue wire see pic.

I'll fill you in about the clown mechanic, a friend of a friend owned a shop in Baltimore were I was living at the time. He hired an illegal from Mexico that didn't even speak English, of course he was cheap and he did what he was told to do. The shop closed up and Maryland is a sanctuary state. I can't do anything to the mechanic and the friends friend is no where to be found. One of the many reasons I moved out of Maryland!
I do appreciate the help but I can't see anything but a blank screen when I try to view the diagram you sent, any way you can send in a different format or maybe just email it to me?
Thank a bunch for the help :)
