2000 Ford Focus Repair Question

Ford Focus Engine Problem
If standing in front of the car looking down at the vtec engine there is a hose coming from it on the top right hand corner under the air intake. What is this hose and where does it connect to. In the photo it is seen with a shiny silver coil where the whose meets the engine.

pcv line. go to the dealer parts and he will have a part picture to what you need.
