Fan relays problem

I bought a cooling fan relay then o left the engine running for a while but the fan didn't work i connect directly to the ignition then is work what do you think about that problem

i bought a cooling fan relay then i left the engine running for a long time but the fan didn't work then i connect directly to the ignition system then is work i want to know what problem do you think about that.

Could be the engine coolant temperature sensor, engine temperature gauge switch and computer
