2000 Ford Explorer Repair Question

Ford Explorer Fuel pump Problem
My explorer fuel pump went out 3 months ago. I finally got around to putting a new fuel pump in and now the pump won't engage. I have done everything but cut every wire. Please help?

did you check the fuse?? did you check the inertia switch??
who determined it was the pump
