I've been having problems starting my car for the last 4 months. Most of the time, I can eventually get my car to start after a few tries and long cranks (7-10 sec.). But when it is wet out, I seem to have a problem (like right now). The car cranks, but will not start.

When I have gotten it to start, I have to press the gas pedal all the way to floor to get the car to move out of a parked position. Once I've done this, the car drives normal on the road.

I have also have noticed the car has a rough idle that seems to be getting worse.

I'm not sure if any of these symptoms or problems are related. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Are there any check engine lights have the vehicle computer scanned for fault codes if any send them my way.

Check the spark plugs and check the gap to see if there within specs too large of a gap can cause poor starting and drivability issues

Hey Ty,

Thanks for your reply. The check engine light is not on. When I check for codes, nothing comes up. I'll check the spark plugs, thanks.
