2000 Dodge Dakota Rear End Currently Pulled Apart Life Get Dif Out Replace

I have the rear end currently pulled apart, but cant for the life of me get the rear dif out to replace the carrier bearings. i have done everything, and it wiggles a little bit, but just wont come out. Is there a retainer bolt through the axle or something, I can see some threads on the drivers side inside the dif, but just wondered if there were an easy fix for this, or a special wrench or something I am missing. PLEASE HELP
