Is my starter dying?

When I turn the ignition it clicks once. Try again, it might click or it might start. It might click 5 different attempts, then start.
i have a brand new battery and Advance Auto tested the alternator and advised it was ok.

Are the battery cables clean and tight?If so sounds like a failing starter. Do you have a test light?

I do not have a test light. What is that. Also, yes the battery cables and posts are clean.

A test light is used to check for power on a circuit etc.
