I drive my van about 5 miles down the road at a speed of 40 mph and the check engine light comes on and the tranny drops into 1st gear and will not shift out of 1st gear. I reset the check engine light and van drives fine again for about 5 miles and then same thing happens. Need to know if its the transmission, co2 sensor (upswind or down swing) or is it the trans modulator valve?
