2nd gear was slipping and after about a mile after it warms up the car just sits and slips, after I sat there and shifted thru all gears including reverse, once none of them wanted to move the van I shut it down and restarted it 30 seconds later and regained full power for another 2 mins

That doesn't sound good. Id take it to a trans shop, but it really sounds like the transmission needs to be rebuilt. This is common with these transmissions

It is possible. Still ive had this exact problem with this exact trans. It may be possible to save it but its going to need a transmission professional either way

Also not sure if this helps but wen I had both brake and throttle pressed at the same time after about 10 secs the van was jumping in place hard to explain but more violent than a engine miss like no spark or no fuel to the cylinder

I don't mind. It was 1800 for a complete rebuild. And if your trans was working as it should then it should be pushing smoothly against the brakes, not jumping. Make sure your fluid is at the proper level and clear and pink

Did you get the vehicle to operating temp and check the fluid level? Also make sure that the right fluid was put in as well

Yea after operate temp thats wen problems arose yeterday was apporx 50 out and there was no problems except wat seemed to be 2nd slipping but smooth shift and no bangs today it was 34 with snow and after roads were clear took it on a test drive and wouldnt move after operating temp fluid level isnt low and isnt over filled drove fime for maybe 5 mins checked fluid again and went to move in any gear it would not felt like it was in nuetral till I shut it down and restarted and felt like regain power but did not wanna die again on snowy roads so I paarked it for the night b4 it completely quit I thought I was just spinning tires on the ice so I got out to look and that was not the case pavement was CLEAN enough to lay down fries and not to get soaked but would deff be extremely salty haha other then these 2 inital test drives I have not drove the van but it did not have problems till "fluid was changed" not flushed but removed trans pan and refilled

If you had all the gears but second then nothing im still leaning toward rebuild. For the money, a good transmission pro inspection is the answer

What would cause fluid to get burnt within 2 months? Saying that the trans drain was done correctly
