My daughters van ran out of gas a few days ago and hasn't started even after I put 5 gallons of gas back in it. Could this be the fuel filter or is this something more serious like the fuel pump?

Check the fuel pressure if it's within specs to rule out the fuel pump/fuel filter.

Thanks for this reply. How do I know that the pressure of the fuel is not enough. If I put my ignition on, the fuel will not come out except I try to start it and it will flow gradually. Could it be bad
