We are trying to replace the heater core on this vehicle. We have done this on other vehicles before, so this is nothing new. But, we have never done it on a Tracker. We thought we had all the bolts off for removal, but it is not coming off. Where are all the bolts located to remove it? It is either a clip or bolt we have missed, but we just cannot find it. Is there any diagrams out there? The service manuals stink and they never show or state everything.

Hello,

Start by draining the coolant and disconnecting the battery. You will need to evacuate the AC system as well here are two guides to help get us started with instruction and diagrams below to show you how in your car.

and

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I have replaced the heater core three times (gm heaer core) because it was leaking. I have checked the cap good, I checked for a head gasket problem tested fine, hoses look fine I do not think any hoses have been replaced. No leaks.
Do you now why it would keep blowing the heater core.
Thankyou
BOB

Install a lower PSI cap and it will reduce strain of heater core, also ensure you are using proper mixture of coolant.
