2000 Chevrolet Tahoe idles low

Sometimes when I start it, it stalls out or won't start at all. After a few tries it will kick over but when I look at the rpm's it is 0.I took it today to get an oil change and I was hoping it would do it for them and it did. But they don't know without putting it on a machine. Do you possibly have an explanation for this.

They were right needs to be scanned Is check engine light on?

The use of a scan tool will help diagnose problem otherwise just guessing. Maybe ignition or fuel related fault
