Had just spayed Gumout in butterfly of throttle body to clean off residue with engine turned off. Would start but would immediately stop running. Tried numerous times with same results. Let it sit overnight to dry out and still would start and would shut off the same. Have I ruined a sensor that would cause that to not stay running? If so, which one do I replace. Thank you for the help.

Hello,

You might have gotten the chemicals on one of the sensors.
Best course of action should be to take out the throttle body and do a through cleaning using throttle body cleaner.

Also take off the throttle position sensor as well as idle air control valve and clean those as well. You could have chemical residue on those components.

This way you can be sure that all the major components are clean.
You also need to scan the vehicle for any codes that might have got triggered during the starting issue.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
