I have a 2000 chevy s-10 w/ a 4.3L and engine light is on and the code reader said it was an O2 sensor- Bank 1, Sensor 3. Where is this one located? Also I put a new 195* thermostat in it and its running at 210*, and it is full of coolant.

The thermostat temp rating is just the temp the thermostat opens to allow the coolant to flow. Its not the operating temp the engine is going to run though. Also what is the exact code number you have it will be P _ _ _ _?That will really help.

Thank u both very much, I had it read at O'reillys and didn't write code # down, my bad! So it running at 210* won't damage it? It varies between 210-215* It also has a new water pump, heater core, and has been flushed!
