Door hinge
How do i remove the spring that is blcking the upper hinge pin on my 2000 chevy s10?

You will want a door spring compressor tool. Can be borrowed from a parts store OR you can visit Harbor Freight and buy one for around 10 bucks. Removal doesn't require the tool BUT getting it back in without learning some new vocabulary does!
