Chevrolet Blazer Check engine light Problem
Hello, my check engine light came on and i took my car to a friends house. He ran a scan on it and the code cam out saying P0135 Cam/Crank Shaft. So i went under the car and unplugged the cam shaft sensor and cleaned it off, there was oil on it. When i plugged it back in it was running much smoother than before but the check engine light was still on. I took it to my friends house and he cleared the code but two minutes later the check engine light came back on for the same thing. I was reading on a message board and one man stated that you had to do something to recalibrate the sensors so the timing is right or something like that. I am 26 and know nothing about cars but unfortunately lack the funds to afford an expensive trip to the mechanic. I am wondering what i can do to fix the issue so i can get my vehicle smogged. Thank you very much for your time.
