2000 Chevrolet Astro Van stall when turning left

When I turn sharp left the van stalls and sometimes it's hard to turn engine back on, I have to wait about 15 minutes to get it going again, it seems like it chokes. Even when I'm backing up and turning the steering to the left it stalls, It's only when I turn left, when I turn right nothing happens it's fine. Any advice will help Thank You

Is the steering hard to turn to the left? I'm thinking the rack and pinion may be going bad and placing a heavy load on the pump / engine.

I found the problem,
The cable of the crank sensor was loose and when I was turning left it was getting pulled.
