Cadillac Seville Shifter Problem
2000 Seville sts shifter will move through all gears but when accelerator is applied rpm goes up along with engine revving butility no actual movement or engaging of transmission. Any way it can be anything other than the transmission being gone? Thanks.

Check the shifter linkage to make sure it is attached and working. Make sure the trans fluid is clean and full.
