Cost for buying and installation of a alternator
Battery holds charge but runs out after about 30 miles .... alternator not charging the system according to the diagnostic. about how much should it cost a shop to buy and install a alternator in a Cadillac Eldorado 2000 etc model ?

If the alternator is charging the battery why are you replacing it-could be the computer controlled of the alternator's field generation circuit-
