I have a 2000 buick regal ls and i was driving for about an hr around town and everything was fine then i started to notice it was shifting gears harder then normal then as i got closer to home my service engine soon light came on and when it shifted it was jumping alittle i checked tranny fluid its good and not dirty at all doesnt smell bad either ,i also could hear a whinning noise as i accelerated , i read on a buick forum and alot of people have the same problem but they ended up finding out the spark plugs were done 5 of the 6 were at 0.69 gap and they looked awful they changed plugs and car ran perfect plz help i just got this car certified and on road on friday plz tell me this isnt a tranny issue thanks for your time
