2000 Alfa Romeo GTV Repair Question

Alfa gtv
Iv got a alfa 2.0gtv its tickin over at 1700rpm and cuts out and struggles to rev iv had a diagnostic check done and it comes up with p0100 air flow so iv changed the air mass meter but its no different and still comes up with p0100 any ideas?

Check the wiring from the MAF to the ECU, and clean all ground connections. Regards:)
