Egr failed and pushed out cam seals. That saturated the accessory drive belt, witch slid off and wrapped up in timing belt. Either the tensioner failed or the acc. Drive belt caused the timing belt to come off. The timing marks were about 2 teeth off (both cams and crank)all the same direction).
I have ordered the cam seals, egr kit, new belt's ect. There dose not appear to be any damage to the pistons. (I used an inspection camera down the spark plug holes.). I have it tore down and ready to put back together.
any advice would be appreciated. Did miss any checks.
The car was running great up until this. The I just had changed the timing belt and coil packs and plugs about a month before. Acc drive belt was about two months old.
Thanks in advance.
