I have a 99 Polo! When I turn on the lights.

Hi, I have a 99 polo! When I turn on the lights the dash light for the speedo and rev counter all come on but the lights for the heater knobs (under the radio) don't, the ones to turn the heating on, the temp, and the direction of air flow! I've checked the fuses. All of em. And they seem fine! Can you help?

Probably a blown globe in the dash, dash removal can be tricky as many hidden screws and clips are used, get a mechanic to check this for you.

If the design is like a Jetta/Bora... pull out the blower fan knob and replace the bulb. You'll need a vacuum pump to
hold the bulb so it can be pulled out.

Halfords sell bulb 1.99 and were you twist the heater and fan nob pull the middle one out its behind there I just done it my self to day
