Volkswagen Polo Starter Problem
My car won't turn over the starter motor is ok. the car will bump start. there is no response to the key only a clicking sound in the engine compartment.

How did you test the starter, sound like it is faulty the click is probably the starter solenoid engaging but not making a good contact for the starter to engage.

new starter motor fitted and working. unsure why it still won't start.
