Volkswagen Beetle Battery Problem
On early cold mornings i start car all dashlights and gauges flicker and after a while all dashlights stay on and speedometer stay at zero gas gauge on e tachometer at zero until i finally disconnect positive battery cable and all seems to reset why does this do it please help.

Use your cellphone to record a video of what is happening... post it on youtube (free) and then post the link to the video here, so we can see
what is happening.
Could be anything from a bad connection at the battery to a faulty instrument cluster.
