Toyota Rav4 Radiator Problem

Replaced water pump, timing belt and oli pump seal one month ago. Have drove vehicle for one month with no problem. Pulled into driveway one night, went to start vehicle next morning and it would not start. Replaced spark plugs(but that was not the problem) vehicle finally started but would barely idle. If I gave it gas it would die. Vehicle finally started running smoothly. Drove it for about an hour, parked it and went out next morning and would not start. Not that it is related to starting problem but the top radiator hose was collapsed both times I looked under the hood and opened back up when I took the radiator cap off. What are possible problems?
